I'm Hung-Che Hsu

I am a high school student and passionate indie developer. With a strong enthusiasm for technology, I am currently active in software development and cross-platform mobile research in Taiwan. I firmly believe that a successful application must not only have a robust backend, but also have an exceptionally beautiful User Interface (UI) and intuitive User Experience (UX).

My programming journey started with curiosity about solving daily life problems. I enjoy taking social pain points from daily life as subjects, self-learning during my spare time, and designing clean and engaging apps. For instance, 'Foodie Choice' was created to solve the group dining dilemma, which marks a significant milestone in my full-stack development journey.

When not coding, I am passionate about researching design trends, participating in online tech communities, and exploring coffee. I look forward to blending my close observations of life into every line of my code.

Independent Project / Maintenance

Independently led the product architecture, UI design, and Supabase security deployment of 'Foodie Choice' mobile App. During spare time, successfully published the app to the App Store and continued to optimize and maintain it.

Self-Learning & Mobile App Exploration

Self-Taught Phase (Flutter / Dart / Swift)

Out of strong interest in software development, self-taught Flutter (Dart) and native iOS (SwiftUI) in spare time, mastering core skills like REST APIs, local cache, and third-party calendar sync.

Basic Programming Learning

Began programming after entering high school, starting with Python and frontend tech (HTML / CSS / JavaScript), establishing solid logical thinking and programming fundamentals.

Great software cannot only have a robust backend; the UI/UX is the primary gateway to communicate with users. I insist on polishing every small loading animation, layout, and shadow to create comfortable visual experiences.

In social and location apps, data privacy is a non-negotiable bottom line. In 'Foodie Choice', I leverage Supabase Row Level Security (RLS) and secure isolation architecture to ensure users' traces and privacy are strictly protected.
